Our Stop Hunger Now 2016 meal-packing day is Saturday, June 25, from 9 am until Noon in the Tilford Room. Many volunteers of all ages are needed to make this outreach a success! There are jobs for everyone - standing or seated.

New this year, volunteers 18 and over must submit a Release and Hold Harmless Agreement prior to the event. Click here for the online form. Please click on Register for Event. On the form, please choose which type of group you are registering and fill in only the fields marked with a red asterisk. There is an opt in for email from Stop Hunger Now already checked. If you do not wish to receive emails, please uncheck that box!

You may also fill out and sign a form in the Tilford Room on Sunday, June 12 or June 19.

Additionally, 5-10 volunteers are needed specifically for setup on Saturday, June 25, at 8 am. This includes assistance in unloading the truck. Supplies may weigh up to 50 lbs. If you can help, please contact Jeremy Welts.

The Outreach Committee at Christ Church has organized a food-packing day for the Stop Hunger Now program for several years. In 2013, more than 65 volunteers, young and older, formed an assembly line to put together food packages, each of which serves six people. Meals were destined for Nicaragua. Christ Church was also able to donate $4150 to the Stop Hunger Now organization. We also packed meals in April 2014.
